My Book

 Courageous Questions, Confident Leaders

Out of personal conviction and passion, I wrote a book.

It is the result of a very personal and profound lesson that I learned as a manager, a leader of teams.

For the first decade or two of being a manager, I thought I had to have all of the right answers.  Then I discovered that it was less important to have all of the right answers than to be able to ask myself the right questions.

By being willing to engage in self-inquiry, I found that not only was I engaging the team to a much greater degree, but that my professional life became less stressful, more satisfying. . .and more lauded by my peers and superiors.

In other words, by forsaking the idea that I had to be right all of the time. . .and replacing it with the ability to self-interrogate, I became a better leader.

My book, "Courageous Questions, Confident Leaders" suggests 20 key questions that leaders can ask themselves.    It is not prescriptive, but intends to challenge the reader to come up with their own list of questions that is important to them and their work.  This is all with the goal of not only becoming a better leader, but also to increase professional satisfaction and personal happiness.

As a working author, I am so aware of time constraints, so "Courageous Questions, Confident Leaders" is deliberately brief and written so that the reader can pick it up for a few minutes, do a little self reflection.  .  . and then resume reading at a later date.

"Courageous Questions, Confident Leaders" is published on Kindle.   You can find it and preview it here:  http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0095KPA6A.

Thank you and happy reading - Brent
